Titanic Exhibition Opens at Southampton
Southampton's rich maritime history is being celebrated at an exhibition in the city centre. "Titanic: Honour and Glory" is a collection of photos and relics from the famous liner, which sank after leaving Southampton 98 years ago. It's a precursor to a much larger exhibition focussing on all the ocean liners that have vistied the city over the years.

Tribute to Millvina Dean

the late millvina dean - titanic survivorElizabeth Gladys Dean was born on February 2nd, 1912, in London.  She became affectionately known as 'Millvina.'  Millvina was a lovely lady who many of us throughout the world had the privilege of meeting, always very pleased and welcoming when approaching her.  Millvina was certainly a fascinating lady with such a historic link to the Titanic.  Titanic was certainly one of her passions and one of which she loved to speak about out of respect for the father she had sadly lost during the tragedy. 

Myself and Margot met with Millvina several times and will always remember and cherish the times spent in her company, she was a lovely dear lady who will be sadly missed, you will and always shall be in our thoughts, hearts and prayers, may god bless you Millvina.
